LatinFest Desvelada Dance Party

Flying Dog DJ Kruz, a veteran of Toronto’s Latin scene, and local boy, Jimmy Martinez of Tropical 88.3 radio, will keep the energy and atmosphere of LatinFest going strong at the Desvelada after-party, Saturday night 11pm – 2am at the Button Factory. The Chrysalids Cantina will serve up some of Ontario’s finest craft beers, Latin cocktails and non-alcohol drinks. Put on your coolest, sharpest summer clothes and let DJs Kruz and Martinez help you dance away this hot, sultry summer night in style!

Tickets available at the Neruda table in the festival tent only $15. Proceeds from the sale of tickets support the K-W LatinFest.

Ontario’s finest Latin DJs will keep LatinFest fans dancing long into the night as the festival moves indoors for a fundraiser Desvelada once events in the Waterloo town square wrap up this coming Saturday evening.

Proceeds from the Desvelada support the free festival in the town square and help organizers draw top international Latin bands, David Alvarez & Juego de Manos from Cuba, and Palo Cruzao from Colombia, to perform at this year’s K-W LatinFest.

“Putting on a free festival is a labour of love for organizers and the many volunteers who help out, but getting top international bands to perform does cost,” explains Isabel Cisterna, Neruda Productions’ Artistic Director.

* In Spanish, Desvelada means awake, sleepless, anxious or vigilant. If you have any of these symptoms, come to the LatinFest Desvelada dance party. The experience IS the cure.
