Come join us for the Canada 150 mural reveal with Neruda Arts.

The mural depicts a story about the celebration of belonging, equity, social justice, and respect for cultural diversity within the country we call home. This is a free event to help us recognize the over 150 members of the community who came together to contribute to this piece. This project was lead by a team of local and international professional artists including:

Pamela Rojas - Kitchener: facebook.com/PamelaRojasArt
August Swinson - Kitchener: augustillustrated.com
The Firm – Kitchener and Cambridge
(An artist Collective of Paul McDonald, Tom Tonner)
Ian Pierce (“Ekeko”) - Chile: www.artesekeko.com
Mono Gonzalez- Chile: monogonzalez.blogspot.ca

The event will include keynote speakers, along with performances from both Elsa Jayne (local First Nations singer/songwriter) and Emilia Diaz (Chilean music artist).

Location: Charles Street (between Cedar and Cameron) across from the mural, weather permitting*

*The Kitchener Market will be used in poor weather conditions
