A talented troupe of singerspoets, and dancers from a high school in Uganda.  This is the third time they are performing as part of Neruda Arts concert series.

 

The Suubi Fusion troupe is a performing arts troupe that consists of Youth from the ages of 12-19 who attend the Cambridge Secondary school in Uganda; that school provides a high school education to students regardless of means;http://www.cacoskyengeraedu.com/?q=node/43  and the performing arts program is one of the handful of social enterprises that we have set up to help fund the school’s budget  needs others being the fair trade gift shopwww.nidogiftshop.com and a school farming business.  Suubi's aim is to inform, educate and entertain international audiences by sharing East African culture through the performing arts, dance, and spoken word poetry while raising funds to   support the budget needs of the school that the performers and other students like them attend.

 

 

The school’s  mission to ensure that students especially girls can have access to a high school education irrespective of their social economic background and for a country where there  is No access to education; that is priceless gift to give a child.
