Making Dreams Come True in Uganda

Making Dreams Come True in Uganda

Dream for Uganda, a registered non-profit, has launched its Fuel Local fundraising campaign to support the performing arts program at the Cambridge Secondary School in Eastern Uganda. The Cambridge School provides refuge, counseling, and free education to 400 children impacted by war, poverty and AIDS. Dream for Uganda is raising $20,000 to create a documentary film and purchase musical instruments for the school. Donors receive everything from a copy of the finished film to their name listed as an associate producer. Neruda partnered with Dream for Uganda in 2013 when the Suubi Youth Dance and Drum Troupe visited Ontario and performed in Toronto, London, Kitchener, St Jacobs and Tobermory successfully raising the fund needed to purchase a bio-stove to heat their school.
