They don’t wear coloured clothing, makeup, or decorate the stage with balloons. They don’t give away toys, hold contests, use sappy language or make their voices sound like a cartoon. The strength of their production is not in the visual presentation, but in their music, their lyrics, their beloved performances full of hilarious situations; always changing and current, according to the times and audiences.
Los Patita de Perro, are not just a group that entertains and amuses, but through its ingenious and provocative lyrics, it touches on social issues that lead to reflection, tolerance, inclusion, children's rights, critical thinking, leading to freedom of thought and expression. Their shows are interactive experiences in which children play a fundamental role by dancing, jumping, getting wet, playing the instruments of the musicians, and singing with them.
Musically, their power trio (guitar, bass, drums), merge grunge, punk, rock, pop, SKA and sometimes even a bit of edgier trends, fills the stage impressively. Band members include, Nacho Pata: The voice and expression of the band (composer, singer, & bass), Pancho Pata (guitar), Diego Illarramendi (guest drummer).
