About the Event
Celebrate International Women's Day With
Women's Work. Women's Work. Women's Worlds. Women's Music.
Saturday March 7th 2pm
First United Church
Our 14th annual staged readings of short plays, scenes & monologues written by women to celebrate International Women's Day. Women's plays, in North America, have risen in the past few years to 22% of produced plays. Even with the rise - that's incredibly low. So, we celebrate the amazing voices of amazing women. This year, we've partnered with Neruda Arts - with a concert presented by Neruda Arts to follow.
Proceeds from donations at the door will go to: Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region
