Drop-in English Conversation Class

About this event

Come and practice your English in an inclusive, welcoming environment, in a small group of about 12 people.

All levels of English welcome. At an easy going pace, we will practice a variety of topics and vocabulary while having fun!

Mondays 6 pm to 7pm, starting Monday, April 11

Tuesdays 11am to 12 noon, starting Tuesday, April 12.

A message from Nikki

I was born and raised in Kitchener-Waterloo and I'm a worldwide traveller as well as a mixed media artist. I graduated from Wilfrid Laurier with a degree in Global Studies and languages. This past year, I became a certified Level 5 TEFL instructor through the TTA academy based in England. I and my wife of almost 10 years enjoy movies, playing games and spoiling their two cats. I'm passionate about helping new Canadians feel welcome in our community and guiding them as they gain confidence in the English language.

LOCATION

Our address is 8 Spring Street, but our entrance is located at the back of the building and is most easily accessed from the parking lot located off Albert Street, between the St Jacobs Playhouse Theatre and Hamel Brooms. Please note that parking is not permitted behind the St James Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Grand River Transit bus stop is just one block away at King and Front Streets. The route is #21 from Conestoga Mall to Elmira.
